3I like the way it looks and feels but..a recommendation to whoever makes these

I never had an area rug that was for a whole room before this and have learned A LOT from the whole experience. This needed to go onto carpet that covered the dining and part of the living room area. It would not stop bunching up and had a mind of its own to crawl up one part of a wall after stepping on it. I had to order Premium Grip(TM) Rug Pad for Hard Surfaces and Carpet which is also here on Amazon. I was pretty overwhelmed from the hauling in of the 8' x 12' area rug, and didn't want to repeat that with the carpet padding, so I ordered 4 of the 4' x 6' rug pads. It was a lot easier on me, being the only person to do this and I'm a petite person with spinal issues. I straightened out the area rug, secured it in three places with a bit of clothesline rope that I had cut into sections and tied those three pieces of rope around three places of the carpet, easily picked up the carpet by two of the areas of tied rope, placed it out of the way, and picked up the whole roll of all four of the 4' x 6' rug pads and placed it in one corner where I wanted it and began unrolling. I placed the rug pads all together in four sections RUBBERY SIDE UP to grip the underside of the area carpet I have to put over it, gently walked across the rug padding with the area carpet roll in hand by the ropes, set the carpet in place, untied the ropes and began unrolling. It worked out fine and only had to cut about 4 inches of the carpet padding at one end only. The carpet seemed fine for a few hours, but is after a night of walking on it, it still is bunching up in spots and yet I have pieces of weighty furniture on it. It doesn't crawl up the wall like it did, but seems to still be moving in spots and bunches up.This experience has reminded me of an old BASF commercial - We don't make the products you buy; we make the products you buy BETTER. They need to intervene in the carpet industry. If a thick rubbery padding was already on the underside of all area rugs, like with your typical bath rugs and better than these carpet padding rolls, WE WOULDN'T NEED TO BUY CARPET PADDING. (But that would be logical..) It's such a waste to have to have all the extra purchases and get that to keep one's area rugs secure.UPDATE: 06/27/13Even with the carpet padding I bought after this wouldn't stay put, it STILL WOULDN'T STAY PUT. I had to resort to more measures. I went to Home Depot and got a large canister of Super 77 Spray Adhesive and sprayed the carpet padding over the area that would have the one half of the area carpet over it. This would be the one half of the side of the room from where it was sliding away from. Once I did that, and gently laid the area carpet back over the top of where I sprayed the adhesive, I walked slowly and firmly over the areas. By the next day it was much better, but I have to say, this was absolutely ridiculous having to resort to this to keep the area carpet from sliding across the room, bunching up, and crawling up the opposite wall. I still say that if area carpet and rugs had a thick rubber backing to them to begin with, that would grip wall to wall carpet like with my situation, or bare floors, buying carpet padding and THEN SPRAY ADHESIVE to put on the top of the carpet padding just to keep the area carpet/rug in place, wouldn't even be necessary.
