Purchased this rug runner to place in front of my sliders - vertically. Basically for my dogs when they come from outside and have dirty paws. They walk the length of this rug before my carpet. It's holding up nicely, and you don't see a lot of dirt on it. Colors are beautiful, and go well in almost any room! My kitchen which is blue aligns with the dining room which is a harvest brown color. This rug runner really accents both rooms!
