Not the worst, but not quite as "good" as advertised. I purchased the pale beige (they call it Ivory Cream) runners for my entry hall and my comment is: Beats a blank! These runners are adequate. They ARE skid-resistant, and that's a good thing. They also protect my hardwood floor. They are an inexpensive alternative to a real carpet runner. Think "industrial," without the padding.
