Our hand crafted rugs are meticulously hooked, woven and tufted by skilled artisans with the power to transform an ordinary space into something spectacular. Created in northeastern India by local weavers, these intricate rugs provide a livelihood to villagers, particularly women who have been traditionally excluded from opportunities in India's workforce. The elaborate process takes several artisans to complete, beginning with patterns that are hand traced and colored. Dependent on which highly detailed construction is chosen for a rug design, it can take anywhere from one week to over six months to complete one of these expertly crafted masterpieces.

A portion of the profits from these rugs and pillows goes towards a school lunch program that serves fresh, nutritious daily meals to 1.3 million children in rural India. For many children, this is their only substantial meal of the day. Additional donations are also made to a scholarship program that enhances literacy and learning in Southeast Asia. Nearly 80 percent of children from impoverished families drop out before graduation due to the burden of educational fees, books and uniforms. This program helps compensate for all school expenses in addition to mandating and paying for after-school tutoring for students most in need.

The perfect bedroom rug.

I now have two of these sweet "jungle rugs" and I'm considering a third. Aside from the terrific price, they are of great quality with fine details. It is the perfect rug to have next to the bed providing warmth for that first step of the morning. Wool is a miracle fiber. It repels dirt and is naturally fire retardant, and lasts much longer than synthetic. I highly recommend this item.

Safavieh makes incredible rugs and they are so well priced, especially if you have Prime! I have their rugs all over my whole house! I would be in a freaking commercial for these people! They are beautiful, unique, and handmaid! This one has jungle animals on it,and is great for in front of a sliding patio door.

Not thick - nice and flat ! Can take moisture !!

Love these poly rugs ... they can handle enzyme cleaners for geriatric doggie mishaps ...I especially like them because they are not thick ...door bottoms glide over them easily ... not trip-causing ... and, yet, the density of the rugs are substantial ...that is, you can't see the backing when looking down at them.Also, the myriad options for sizes is wonderful ... and the print / colors are handsome.

BEAUTIFUL COLORS

Beautiful colors of main black and tan with some sage like green and a very faint almost not noticeable is a lite grey blue. I bought round size for my foyer to take traffic. This rug is not as thick piled carpet as I would like ( I am extremely picky)but,I loved how it looked so much I kept it! Originally I ordered a different round rug--hated it so much I sent it back...even though the quality of the rug was much better the colors were horrible. Looking in my foyer with my gold/yellow/tan hue colored wall this black and ivory rug just pops nicely.
